Artie - Lead Vocals, Guitar, Songwriting
Is the creative force behind 68 A.D. as the main songwriter. It is his angst and aggression along with his wit that gives 68 A.D. it's personality. A veteran of many 80's and 90's NJ based Rock and Metal Bands Artie has come into his own with complete freedom to say and create what he wants within the limitless boundaries of 68 A.D.
Richie - Lead Guitar
A blazing fret board monster Richie feeds off of his heroes Lynch, Yngwie, Sykes, and the rest of those guys who wish they were him. His melodic and sometimes shredding solos are a cornerstone of the 68 AD sound.
John - Rhythm Guitar (The Rock)
John has been wielding the Les Paul since his 10th birthday. Listening to and imitating his influences all throughout his formative years as a creative musician. Early on the fire to play guitar was fueled by such artists as Tony Iommi, Rik Nielsen & Kerry King
Tim - Bass Guitar
Tim is a veteran of many NJ based Rock bands and brings a strong Who, Doors and Zeppelin influence to the band. He lays down a huge bottom with his pounding bass style.
Joe Jr. - Drums
No relation to our beloved former drummer. So new, we don't even have a real photo of him yet. Joe's influences include Mitch Mitchell, John Bonham, Lars Ulrich, Dave Grohl, and Keith Moon. Joe's strong work ethic and brilliant playing are among the many postive assets he brings to the band.
Joe Sr. - Drums (now retired)
Joey has been strongly influenced by Bill Ward & Dave Lombardo no one else matters... The music of Black Sabbath and Slayer along with some Cheap Trick, Triumph Helloween and the early blues artists such as Bo Didley and B.B. King round out Joey's musical influences.
Joey appears on 68AD's two studio releases to date and has left to pursue other interests. He still remains part of the family and continues to contribute ideas and artwork for the band's endeavors.
